Sustainability report

The sustainability report is the document that collects data on emissions, energy consumption, waste management, workplace safety, and social initiatives. This tool allows us to monitor progress, share results with stakeholders and the community, and strengthen our commitment to responsible and sustainable production.

Environment

Environmental protection is at the heart of what we do. Since 2004, we have been ISO 14001 certified and implement concrete actions to consume less energy and reduce emissions. Our plant uses a cogeneration system, which produces electricity and heat simultaneously, making production more efficient and sustainable. In 2024, we consumed 32,414 MWh, of which 89% came from natural gas and 11% from electricity, with 24% covered by photovoltaic panels. CO2 emissions decreased to 7,095 tCO2e, -4% compared to 2023, thanks to the use of clean energy and more efficient processes.

Respect water, to respect the world

In Sardinia, water is precious and we treat it with care. In 2024, we reused 10,050 megaliters of water and reduced total withdrawals to 2,165 megaliters, treating and controlling the water before sending it to the purification plant. Furthermore, we promote the circular economy, recovering production waste and improving packaging sustainability, for example by reducing the thickness of plastic films while maintaining product protection.
